On weekends, i try as much to visit the beach. Call it the good-weather-pressure but i’m always inclined to feel like i’m doing this whole experience a great disservice when the sky is so clear and i am contently just spending my time somewhere else.
Today, i thought, is one such day. The sun is a dynamo, letting its rays shine in all its glory. Only though, its nemesis, the wind, decided to showcase its power as well. It’s windy enough that i can literally taste the sand in my mouth while i’m downing my beer. So, not ten minutes in, a little disappointed, i thought to just pack it up.
While waiting for the next bus, i decided to take a stroll along the beach and on a random impulse, decided to get my feet wet by the Bermuda seas, as i realize, only for the first time since getting here.
I thought the moment is sweet and rather sentimental. As if this tiny, freakishly beautiful island is shaking my hand firmly for an official welcome. Both of us knowing instantly, together, we’ll have nothing but good times.
