i’ve seen divided opinions on this one so i guess it’s one of those which you either love or meh.

easily, i am on the side of fence with the people who loved it — absolutely and very much, thank you.

the literal fact that i’ve smiled and laughed and teared up across the (purposely) long stretch of days that i journeyed through it, i will attribute to how i personally think it was so well and beautifully written (i’m definitely getting more of markus zusak’s for this very reason).

to the people of himmel street, i’m looking forward to meeting you again when on a different life occasion, i give this book a second go.
